The signs are already visible.
The arrests.
The executions.
The silencing of dissent.
The tightening grip on speech, belief, and assembly.
History teaches something simple and severe:
When peaceful reform is denied long enough, pressure does not disappear.
It accumulates.
And accumulation eventually breaks systems.
The Crossroads
Iran stands at a civilizational crossroads.
It is the land of Zarathustra.
The land of Cyrus.
The land where Asha — truth and moral order — first entered human ethical consciousness.
That history cannot be erased.
It cannot be rewritten.
It can only be acknowledged — or suppressed.
Suppression has consequences.
Freedom Must Be Complete
Free Persia does not mean chaos.
It means space.
Space for:
- Speech without fear.
- Assembly without imprisonment.
- Dissent without execution.
- Belief without punishment.
And yes — space for Iranians to practice Zoroastrianism openly.
Zoroastrianism is not foreign to this land.
It is foundational to it.
Allowing its free practice is not destabilization.
It is historical continuity.
The Silent Tension
Across Iran and throughout the diaspora, there are those who feel drawn to their ancestral roots.
Some explore quietly.
Some celebrate cautiously.
Some study privately.
When identity must be whispered, tension grows.
When belief carries risk, resentment builds.
Religious freedom must include the right to:
- Maintain one’s faith.
- Change one’s faith.
- Explore ancestral faith.
- Practice openly without intimidation.
Freedom that flows only in one direction is not freedom.
Prevention, Not Provocation
This is not a call for revenge.
It is not a call for erasure.
It is not a call for hostility.
It is a call for prevention.
Reform prevents rupture.
Inclusion prevents escalation.
Religious freedom stabilizes societies.
History shows that suppressing identity never strengthens a nation.
It weakens its foundations.
Let the Flame Breathe
The sacred fire has survived empires.
It survived conquest.
It survived exile.
It survived demographic decline.
It will survive again.
But survival should not require secrecy.
The land where the flame first burned deserves to let it burn openly.
Free Persia.
Let the people speak.
Let the people assemble.
Let the people believe.
And let those who follow Zarathustra practice without fear in the land where his voice first rose.
