CHAPTER 1: THE BEGINNING – WHAT ANCIENT ISRAEL BELIEVED
Genesis: The Original Cosmology
Genesis 1:26
“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness'”
Plural. Multiple divine beings present at creation.
Genesis 6:1-4
“When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose… The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.”
Divine beings (“sons of God”) mating with humans.
Job 1:6
“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them“
Satan is PART OF God’s divine council. Not an enemy.
Job 2:1
“Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD”
Satan works FOR Yahweh, not against him.
Psalm 82:1
“God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment”
Multiple gods exist. Yahweh presides over them.
Psalm 82:6
“I said, ‘You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you'”
Divine beings are called “gods.”
Deuteronomy: The Tribal War God
Deuteronomy 7:1-2
“When the LORD your God brings you into the land… seven nations greater and mightier than you, and when the LORD your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must devote them to complete destruction. You shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them“
Command: Genocide. Complete destruction. No mercy.
Deuteronomy 20:16-17
“But in the cities of these peoples that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, but you shall devote them to complete destruction“
Kill everything that breathes.
1 Samuel 15:2-3
“Thus says the LORD of hosts… ‘Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey'”
Command: Kill men, women, children, infants, even animals.
The Sheol Reality: No Afterlife
Ecclesiastes 9:5
“For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten”
The dead know NOTHING. No consciousness after death.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going“
Sheol = unconscious oblivion. No thought, no knowledge.
Psalm 6:5
“For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise?”
The dead cannot praise God. They’re just… gone.
CHAPTER 2: THE WATCHERS – THE FORBIDDEN STORY
Book of Enoch: What Really Happened
1 Enoch 6:1-3
“And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’ And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.'”
Angels lusted after human women. Their leader: Semjaza.
1 Enoch 6:4-6
“And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon“
200 angels descended to Mount Hermon and swore an oath.
The Knowledge They Taught
1 Enoch 8:1-3
“And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures… Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal taught astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon“
The Watchers taught:
- Metallurgy and weaponmaking (Azazel)
- Enchantments/sorcery (Semjaza)
- Astrology (Baraqijal)
- Constellations (Kokabel)
- Signs of sun and moon (Shamsiel, Sariel)
Advanced knowledge. Scientific knowledge.
The Result: Nephilim and Destruction
1 Enoch 7:2-5
“And the women became pregnant, and they bare great giants… who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood”
The Nephilim (giants) consumed everything, then turned cannibalistic.
The Angelic Report to God
1 Enoch 9:1-3, 6-8
“And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel looked down from heaven and saw much blood being shed upon the earth, and all lawlessness being wrought upon the earth… And they said to the Lord of the ages: ‘Lord of lords, God of gods, King of kings… Thou seest what Azazel hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were preserved in heaven, which men were striving to learn: And Semjaza, to whom Thou hast given authority to bear rule over his associates‘”
The archangels (Michael, Uriel, Raphael, Gabriel) report to God about the corruption.
Note: These are the SAME archangels that appear in post-Exile Jewish texts. They didn’t exist in pre-Exile Hebrew religion.
God’s Judgment
1 Enoch 10:4-6
“And again the Lord said to Raphael: ‘Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire‘”
Azazel bound in darkness until final judgment, then thrown into fire.
1 Enoch 10:11-14
“And the Lord said unto Michael: ‘Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women… Bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever'”
Semjaza and his 200 bound for 70 generations, then thrown into the abyss of fire.
CHAPTER 3: THE FLOOD AND WHAT CAME AFTER
Genesis Account (Abbreviated)
Genesis 6:5-7
“The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth… So the LORD said, ‘I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land… for I am sorry that I have made them.'”
God regrets creation and decides to destroy everything.
Enoch’s Account (The Details)
1 Enoch 10:16-22
“And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth… And cleanse thou the earth from all oppression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin, and from all godlessness… And all the earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin“
All sin ascribed to Azazel. The earth corrupted by what the Watchers taught.
After The Flood: The Problem Remains
Genesis 6:4
“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man”
“And also afterward” – The Nephilim returned AFTER the flood.
Numbers 13:33
“And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them”
The Nephilim still exist after the Flood. The Watchers’ offspring survived.
CHAPTER 4: THE BABYLONIAN EXILE – THE TRANSFORMATION BEGINS
Daniel: Trained by the Magi
Daniel 1:3-4
“Then the king commanded Ashpenaz, his chief eunuch, to bring some of the people of Israel, both of the royal family and of the nobility, youths without blemish, of good appearance and skillful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding learning, and competent to stand in the king’s palace, and to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans“
Jewish elite (including Daniel) educated in Babylonian/Chaldean wisdom.
Daniel 2:2
“Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams”
The Magi (magicians) are the wise men of Babylon.
Daniel 2:48
“Then the king gave Daniel high honors and many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon“
Daniel becomes CHIEF of the wise men (Magi).
Daniel 5:11
“There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods… your father made him chief of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers”
Confirmed: Daniel was Chief Magi. Rab-Mag.
What Daniel Learned: Suddenly New Concepts Appear
Daniel 12:2 (written ~165 BCE)
“And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt”
RESURRECTION. First clear mention in Hebrew Bible.
Before Babylonian Exile: NO resurrection (Ecclesiastes 9:5 – “the dead know nothing”)
After exposure to Zoroastrian Magi: Resurrection appears.
Daniel 12:1
“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people… there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time”
Michael the archangel by name. Angels with names and specific functions = NEW.
Daniel 10:13
“The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me”
Hierarchies of angels with specific territorial assignments = NEW concept.
CHAPTER 5: CYRUS THE GREAT – THE PERSIAN LIBERATION
Isaiah: The Prophecy of the Persian Messiah
Isaiah 44:28
“who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and he shall fulfill all my purpose’; saying of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be built,’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation shall be laid'”
God calls Cyrus “my shepherd” – a title of divine favor.
Isaiah 45:1-3
“Thus says the LORD to his anointed [MESSIAH/CHRIST], to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him… I will go before you and level the mountains, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness… that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who call you by your name“
CYRUS IS CALLED “MESSIAH” (מָשִׁיחַ – mashiach) BY GOD.
First person in history called “Messiah/Christ” in the Hebrew Bible.
A Zoroastrian Persian king.
Isaiah 45:13
“I have stirred him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways level; he shall build my city and set my exiles free, not for price or reward, says the LORD of hosts”
Cyrus will free the exiles (Jews) and rebuild Jerusalem.
Ezra: The Persian Funding
Ezra 1:1-3
“In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia… the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation… ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem‘”
Cyrus declares God chose him to rebuild the Temple.
Ezra 6:3-4
“In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king issued a decree: Concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, let the house be rebuilt… Its height shall be sixty cubits and its breadth sixty cubits… Let the cost be paid from the royal treasury“
The Persian king’s treasury funds the Jewish Temple.
Ezra 6:8-9
“Moreover, I make a decree… The cost is to be paid to these men in full and without delay from the royal revenue… And whatever is needed—bulls, rams, or sheep for burnt offerings to the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, or oil, as the priests at Jerusalem require—let that be given to them day by day without fail“
Continuous funding. Daily provision. From Persian imperial treasury.
CHAPTER 6: THE TRANSFORMATION – NEW CONCEPTS FLOOD IN
Book of Enoch: The Angelic Hierarchy
Written POST-Exile (300-100 BCE).
1 Enoch 20:1-8
“And these are the names of the holy angels who watch. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos. Saraqael, one of the holy angels, who is set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit. Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom God set over those who rise”
Seven archangels named with specific functions:
- Uriel (world and Tartarus)
- Raphael (spirits of men)
- Raguel (luminaries)
- Michael (mankind and chaos)
- Saraqael (sinning spirits)
- Gabriel (Paradise and Cherubim)
- Remiel (resurrection)
None of these names appear in pre-Exile Hebrew texts.
All appear POST-Persian contact.
The Messiah Concept Emerges
1 Enoch 48:2-7 (Book of Parables, ~100 BCE)
“And at that hour that Son of Man was named in the presence of the Lord of Spirits, and his name before the Head of Days. Yea, before the sun and the signs were created, before the stars of the heaven were made, his name was named before the Lord of Spirits… And he shall be a staff to the righteous whereon to stay themselves and not fall, and he shall be the light of the Gentiles… For this reason hath he been chosen and hidden before Him, before the creation of the world and for evermore“
The “Son of Man” = Messiah figure, chosen before creation, will be light to Gentiles.
This is the Zoroastrian Saoshyant (savior) entering Jewish thought.
2 Esdras (4 Ezra): The Explicit Dualism
Written ~100 CE, preserves earlier tradition.
2 Esdras 7:11-14
“For the Most High made this world for the sake of many, but the world to come for the sake of only a few… The age is divided into twelve parts, and ten of its parts have already passed… What remains is but two parts and half of a part”
Linear time progressing toward end = Zoroastrian concept.
Pre-Exile Hebrew religion had no such timeline.
CHAPTER 7: THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS – EXPLICIT ZOROASTRIAN DUALISM
War Scroll: The Final Battle
1QM (War Scroll) Column 1
“This shall be a time of salvation for the people of God, and a time of dominion for all the men of His forces, and eternal annihilation for all the forces of Belial… when the sons of darkness shall be conquered. Then shall righteousness be victorious… When the great hand of God raises itself over Belial and over all the forces of his dominion… Then the sons of [light] shall shine to all ends of the world”
“Sons of Light” vs. “Sons of Darkness” = Pure Zoroastrian dualism.
Ahura Mazda (light) vs. Angra Mainyu (darkness).
Community Rule: The Two Spirits
1QS (Community Rule) Column III
“From the God of Knowledge comes all that is and shall be… He has created man to govern the world, and has appointed for him two spirits in which to walk until the time of His visitation: the spirits of truth and falsehood. Those born of truth spring from a fountain of light, but those born of falsehood spring from a source of darkness”
Two spirits: Truth and Falsehood. Light and Darkness.
This is Zoroastrian Asha (truth/light) vs. Druj (lie/darkness).
1QS Column IV
“But the God of Israel and His Angel of Truth will succor all the sons of light. For it is He who created the spirits of Light and Darkness and founded every action upon them… One He loves for all eternity and delights in all his deeds forever; but the counsel of the other He abhors”
God created BOTH spirits of light and darkness.
But loves one, abhors the other.
This is the Zoroastrian cosmology applied to Judaism.
CHAPTER 8: THE THREE-WAY SPLIT
Acts: The Factions Defined
Acts 23:6-8
“Now when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, ‘Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. It is with respect to the hope and the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.’ And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees… For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit, but the Pharisees acknowledge them all“
The split defined:
Sadducees: NO resurrection, NO angels, NO spirits
Pharisees: YES resurrection, YES angels, YES spirits
ALL THE “YES” CONCEPTS ARE ZOROASTRIAN.
ALL THE “NO” CONCEPTS ARE PRE-EXILE HEBREW.
The Essenes: Full Zoroastrian
The Dead Sea Scrolls show:
- Complete dualism (Light vs. Darkness)
- Solar calendar (Zoroastrian, not lunar Hebrew)
- 50 copies of Jubilees (post-Exile text with Zoroastrian concepts)
- 20 copies of Enoch (full of Zoroastrian angelology)
- ZERO copies of Esther (the anti-Persian propaganda book)
The Essenes were the pro-Zoroastrian faction that went all-in.
CHAPTER 9: JESUS AND THE MAGI
Matthew: The Zoroastrian Recognition
Matthew 2:1-2
“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men [μάγοι – MAGI] from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, ‘Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him'”
Magi = Zoroastrian priests. The Greek word is literally “Magi.”
Matthew 2:11
“And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh“
The gifts:
- Gold – Kingship
- Frankincense – Used in Zoroastrian fire temple rituals
- Myrrh – Zoroastrian purification rituals
These are Zoroastrian ritual items.
The Magi recognized Jesus as the Saoshyant – the Zoroastrian prophesied savior.
Jesus’s Teaching: Zoroastrian Concepts
Matthew 5:14
“You are the light of the world“
Light = Zoroastrian symbol of Ahura Mazda.
John 8:12
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life'”
Light vs. Darkness = Zoroastrian dualism.
John 12:35-36
“The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you… While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light“
“Sons of light” = Dead Sea Scrolls language = Zoroastrian concept.
Jesus Confronts The Pharisees
Mark 7:6-9
“And he said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites… in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men… You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition!'”
“Tradition of men” = Post-Exile innovations = Zoroastrian concepts they won’t acknowledge.
“Commandment of God” = Pre-Exile Torah (which had NONE of these concepts).
Jesus is calling them out for hiding the Persian source.
CHAPTER 10: THE REVELATION CONNECTION
Revelation: The Imprisoned Angels
Revelation 9:13-15
“Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.’ So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released”
Angels BOUND at the Euphrates (Mesopotamia/Babylon region).
Compare to 1 Enoch 10:11-12:
“Bind Semjaza and his associates… Bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth”
The Watchers were bound in Mesopotamia. Revelation describes bound angels being released.
Same story. Same location.
Revelation 20:1-3
“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit… And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him”
The “pit” / “abyss” = Where the Watchers are bound in Enoch.
Revelation 20:10
“and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur… and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever”
Lake of fire = Final judgment.
Compare to 1 Enoch 10:6:
“And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire“
Identical end for the Watchers/Satan.
CHAPTER 11: THE COMPLETE TIMELINE IN SCRIPTURE
Phase 1: Pre-Exile (Before 586 BCE)
Polytheism/Henotheism:
- Psalm 82:1 – “God stands in the divine council, in the midst of the gods”
- Exodus 20:3 – “You shall have no other gods before me” (acknowledges others exist)
No Resurrection:
- Ecclesiastes 9:5 – “The dead know nothing”
- Psalm 6:5 – “In death there is no remembrance of you”
Satan as Divine Council Member:
- Job 1:6 – “The sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them”
No Angels by Name:
- Generic “messengers” (mal’akh) only
No Messiah (supernatural):
- Hope for Davidic king, but no supernatural savior
Phase 2: The Exile (586-539 BCE)
Daniel 2:48 – Daniel becomes “chief of the magicians” (Rab-Mag)
70 years of education by Zoroastrian Magi.
Phase 3: The Liberation (539 BCE)
Isaiah 45:1 – “Thus says the LORD to his anointed [MESSIAH], to Cyrus“
First “Christ” in the Bible = Zoroastrian Persian king.
Ezra 6:4 – Persian treasury funds the Temple
Phase 4: Post-Exile (539 BCE onward)
Resurrection Appears:
- Daniel 12:2 – “Many… shall awake, some to everlasting life”
Angels By Name:
- Daniel 10:13 – “Michael, one of the chief princes”

Satan Becomes Adversary:

Messiah Concept:

Dualism:
- Dead Sea Scrolls – “Sons of Light” vs. “Sons of Darkness”

The Proof:
EVERY NEW CONCEPT appears POST-539 BCE.
EVERY NEW CONCEPT is Zoroastrian.
The timing is undeniable.
CHAPTER 12: THE NEW TESTAMENT CONFIRMATION
Paul Acknowledges The Split
Philippians 3:5
“circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee“
Paul WAS a Pharisee. He accepted all Zoroastrian concepts.
Acts 26:6-8
“And now I stand here on trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our fathers… Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?”
Paul’s defense: Resurrection = fulfillment of promise.
But resurrection isn’t in pre-Exile texts. It’s POST-Persian.
The Sadducees Challenge Jesus
Mark 12:18-23
“And Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection“
The Sadducees reject resurrection because it’s a POST-Exile, Persian concept.
Mark 12:26-27
“And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living. You are quite wrong“
Jesus argues FOR resurrection against the traditionalists.
Because Jesus accepts the Zoroastrian concepts.
CHAPTER 13: THE LINGUISTIC PROOF
“Paradise” – A Persian Word
Luke 23:43
“And he said to him, ‘Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise‘”
Paradise (παράδεισος – paradeisos in Greek) comes from Persian “pairi-daeza” = “walled garden”
This is the Zoroastrian heavenly garden.
2 Corinthians 12:4
“and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter, being caught up into Paradise“
Paradise = Heaven = Persian concept.
Revelation 2:7
“To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God“
The word itself proves borrowing.
CONCLUSION: WHAT THE SCRIPTURES ACTUALLY SAY
The Undeniable Pattern
Before Babylonian Exile (Pre-586 BCE):
- Polytheistic/henotheistic (Psalm 82:1)
- No resurrection (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
- Satan in divine council (Job 1:6)
